MY SCHOOL’S COOL

My School’s Cool is a program that Buckley Elementary School is involved in through the Grand Traverse Mall.  Local schools compete with each other for the highest accumulation of points and earn cash rewards. Our school earns these points by saving and turning in receipts from any of the stores, food vendors, carousel, or movies that are at the Mall. These receipts need to be dated within the time period of February 1st through May 31st, 2010.
 

Congratulations to everyone who helped our school come in second place last semester. We were able to earn $3,000.00!! Great Job everyone!!

Current Calendar February 2010

Dates to Remember for this month

  • Triple point days February 9th -11th and February 23rd-25th.
  • Double point day Wednesday, February 17th
  • NMC Barbeque kick-off Saturday, February 20th 11:00 - 4:00 pm. We will receive 500 points for each ticket purchased on this date during this time.
  • Father Fred food drive begins Monday, February 15th and ends March 13th. We will receive 50 points per non-perishable food item or personal care item.
  • The focus retailers this month are B.H. Hobart Jewelers, Body Arts, Claire’s, Fred Meyer Jewelers, Kay Jewelers, Osterman’s Jewelers, Piercing Pagoda, Rogers & Hollands, and Zales.

 My Schools Cool Update

Let the competition begin!! Please start saving all of your receipts from the Grand Traverse Mall dated February 1st through May 31st !! Shop Tuesday, February 9th –Thursday, February 11th and receive triple points!! The focus retailers for this month are all of the Jewelry stores!! So if you buy that someone special jewelry for Valentine’s Day, don’t forget the receipt. Please save receipts from any of the stores, restaurants, movies, food vendors, and the carousel. It doesn’t matter if you pay for your purchases with cash, debit, credit card or gift card the receipt will still count. Just save your receipts in an envelope and turn them into the school of if you need to save your receipt you can go to the Mall office in the food court and they will fill out a point pass for our school. You will be able to keep your receipt and our school will still get credit. Remember to tell your friends and family to save their receipts too!!!
