Welcome to the Technology Director’s Page

Hello, my name is Chris Nuckels. I am the director of technology for your school district. My job entails the maintenance, upgrade, and planning of all technology in our building. The purpose of this page is to keep you, the community, updated on technology events that are happening within the school. These could be related to new technology purchases, changes to our current technology, and PowerSchool updates.

Please be sure to check back in the coming weeks for more information related to Buckley Community School’s technology program.

Meet the Elementary Principal

Mr. Kulawiak

I am Todd Kulawiak, proud to be the elementary principal at Buckley Community Schools.  Prior to being the principal at Buckley Community Schools I was the Dean of Students and Athletic Director at my alma mater, Benzie Central HS, for the previous 11 years.  I am fortunate to have a career where I don’t feel I go to work but to school each day!!

I have been married to my wonderful and patient wife, Erin, for past 14 years.  We have 5 outgoing children: Carson, 13; Jackson 11; Landon 9; Mikayla 7; and Jamison 5.  Carson, Jackson, Landon, Mikayla, and Jamison all attend Buckley Community Schools.

I enjoy spending time with my family, watching my children participate in extracurricular activities, hunting, and fishing.  As my children get older I enjoy watching them learn and try new things.  We enjoy camping during the summer especially at Aloha State Park in Cheboygan and  Northern Exposure in Mesick.

I graduated with a BA from Alma College in 1992 with majors in Physiology and Biology and a Secondary Teaching Certification.  I received my MA from Central Michigan University in School Principalship in 2ooo.

And as always—GOOOOO BEARS!!!!
